In celebration of World Fragile X Day and the NC Fragile X community, the Foundation proudly announces this year’s Xtraordinary Bowl-a-Thon at Rainbow Lanes Family Fun Center, Clayton, NC on Sunday, July 20 from 3 to 5 PM. Everyone is encouraged to form a team with families and friends to raise funds for the Foundation and to compete for the coveted Bowl-a-Thon championship trophy! Advance registration is encouraged, so look for registration info coming soon!
Fragile X Family & Friends Picnic
Each year, the NCFXF Board hosts the annual Family & Friends Picnic - a day to reunite and gather with our NC Fragile X community! While the 2024 event was cancelled due to the devastating effect of Hurricane Helene on Western Carolina, we hope the picnic will return in 2025. Our last picnic was held in October 2023 on scenic and peaceful Lake Macintosh in Burlington, NC with a catered BBQ lunch (with vegetarian and kid-friendly options) and the all new NCFXF Olympic Games!
