Fragile X Family & Friends Picnic
Each year, the NCFXF Board hosts the annual Family & Friends Picnic - a day to reunite and gather with our NC Fragile X community! While the 2024 event was cancelled due to the devastating effect of Hurricane Helene on Western Carolina, we hope the picnic will return in 2025. Our last picnic was held in October on scenic and peaceful Lake Macintosh in Burlington, NC with a catered BBQ lunch (with vegetarian and kid-friendly options) and the all new NCFXF Olympic Games!
Xtraordinary NC Fragile X Bowl-a-Thon
Each year, the NCFXF proudly hosts the highly acclaimed bowl-a-thon in the central region of North Carolina in July during Fragile X Awareness Month. Teams are formed by families and friends to raise funds for the foundation and to compete for the coveted bowl-a-thon championship trophy!
