Renée Duffee Clark

Renée has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for 28 years and has been at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since 1994. While working on a longitudinal study of development with Dr. Don Bailey, she was able to meet many children with fragile X and their families and teachers. She currently co-directs the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities Research Participant Registries which support research studies on autism, fragile X, and other developmental syndromes and conditions. She also co-directs the UNC site for the SPARK for Autism study, a national autism genetics research initiative. Renée enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports, and collecting children’s books.
